Summer Internship 2019
At Cameron Hume, we use economic and market data to inform our investment analysis. In order to use this data effectively, we store it centrally within a data warehouse, from which our in-house analytics software, CaTo, is used for further analysis. Maintenance and improvements of this system is crucial for our business’ operation.
In particular, our investment team utilise the quantitative analysis produced by CaTo and other external sources. The intern will have the opportunity to work within different areas of our business to improve data provision and analysis capability. Cameron Hume offers an attractive working environment and successful applicants will be working in a small firm of 12 people, thereby gaining exposure to all key individuals within the firm.
We will offer successful applicants the opportunity to collaborate on projects identified by both the operations and investment teams. The intern will gain a broad understanding of fixed income markets, data and analysis.
- Develop Cameron Hume’s holdings of economic data and automate its integration into our data warehouse for use in investment analysis.
- Work with Cameron Hume’s investment team on projects for improving market analysis and insight.
