Chief Investment Officer and a founder of Cameron Hume, Guy has over 30 years’ investment management experience.
He joined Baillie Gifford & Co in 1987, and in his early career was an equity fund manager, heading the UK Mid and Small Cap Team from 1994. Later, as a partner in Baillie Gifford, Guy led the successful development of that firm’s fixed income business. By improving the investment process, including both the quality and breadth of research and portfolio construction, he oversaw significant growth in the firm’s fixed income capability.
Guy has a first class honours degree in mathematical physics from the University of Edinburgh.
